In Sweden, as part of the Public & Society team, you will support clients in the public-, civil society-, and philanthropic sectors. You will contribute to the analysis in a range of economic and societal issues. You will be working with colleagues specialising in everything from AI and Econometrics to Sociology and Anthropology. Through analytics and strategy development we help our clients drive change, assess impact and spark innovation.
For this position, we are looking for candidates who are
based in Sweden.
What You Do
- Delivering Quantitative Projects:
- You will be responsible for delivering high-quality quantitative analysis in an efficient manner.
- This includes processing large datasets, conducting various forms of statistical and econometric analyses, and generating insights through data visualizations.
- You will contribute to reports and presentations, translating complex findings into clear, actionable insights for a range of stakeholders.
- Data Source Management and Development:
- Continuously ensure the quality and relevance of the data sources used in your projects.
- You will work closely with data suppliers to maintain access to relevant data, such as SCB registry data, company information databases, patent databases, and bibliometrics databases.
- An essential part of the role is to assess and evaluate new and potential data sources, including both open (e.g., public sector information) and closed sources, to support the development of new offerings and solutions.
- Methodology Development and Innovation:
- You will contribute to the development of new methods that address client needs, working to enhance our analytical approaches.
- This includes identifying and integrating emerging opportunities, particularly through AI technologies, to expand the capabilities of our analyses.
Requirements
What you bring:
- 2 - 5 years of working experience in the field of Analytics, Statistics or Data Science (Consultancy experience is a big plus)
- Experience and understanding of the Swedish Public Sector (e.g. policies, methodologies, research, innovation systems)
- A quantitative MSc degree (e.g., Econometrics, Statistics, Data Science, quantitative social science, or similar)
- Proficiency with relevant tools and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, Stata, or similar)
- Strong hands-on experience with large datasets, e.g. bibliometrics, national statistics (micro data), company information, and patent data
- Ability to translate complex technical analyses into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent command of the English language (Swedish is a plus, Finnish is a plus)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- A proactive, innovative mindset to explore data and AI technologies for helping decision makers understand complex phenomena
- Strong ethical framework and a strong sense of responsibility, accountability, ownership and helping others
